Bird House Wallpaper

I want to paint my bathroom.. more details inside- I’m looking for color suggestions!?

My bathroom is small, about 6′x8′. It is currently a turquoise green color with weird bird wallpaper strip around the top, which I really don’t like… I also use that bathroom as my photography studio, which is probably weird but the lighting in there is better than anywhere else in my house. I use the bathtub (which doesn’t work, so we don’t use it for bathing or anything) and the walls for a background…
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I want a color that looks good for photo background and one that makes the bathroom look bigger, if it’s possible to have both of those at once.

Haha, to answer someone’s question- I have more than one bathroom- and it does have a working shower. I assure you all that I -do- shower once daily. =P

I love Silver Sage from Restoration Hardware. Misted Green from Benjamin Moore is great. Or what about a lavender, which is a hot color right now. Lavender is really pretty in a modern room with a gray or taupe color. Go really pale or really deep. Avoid midrange because it tends to look childish. I like it with modern and antique furnishings, gold frames and dark wood. It pairs beautifully with brown, celadon, gray, mustardy yellows, and black and white. Try Lavender Ice, White Heaven or Misty Lilac from Benjamin Moore.
